Qualcomm Atheros AR956x not on 5GHz?

    I've got a Qualcomm Atheros AR956x which appears to be 802.11n capable, but in the driver settings it doesn't seem possible to enable it?

    I'm on Windows 10, I've got version 10.0.0.324 (Even though the latest round of Windows updates reverted it back to 321, which was the same.)

    Any idea if this can be 5Ghz enabled? I've got a Samsung NP905S3G-K04UK‏, I tried contacting Samsung but they were not very helpful.

    I was really excited when I saw your email, I've installed the 10.0.0.326 driver but unfortunately it is still the same. It can't see 5Ghz.

    I've restarted, I tried the version from here too, https://www.ath-drivers.eu/download-driver-nr-302-for-atheros-AR956x-and-Windows10.html but there was no difference.

    I can send screenshots of the settings if it helps?

    I managed to get the newest version 10.0.0.329 for Windows 10, try to please.
    For more information, contact the hotline Samsung (https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/NP905S3G-K01UK).
    We will notify you as soon as a newer version of the driver is available.

    I tried it, restarted the laptop but again, there seems to be no change.

    I did contact Samsung previously but they referred me to the wifi adapter manufacturer.

    Can you tell me if it works on 5Ghz on other laptops, non-Samsung? And also non-Windows 10?

    Just trying to understand why this is failing.
